such a spark
all I am
is simply fixated
fixated on your energy
your eyes
how you make me feel
such a spark
that ignites in only one
though grows and grows with every visit
every look
every simple touch
a spark that my very soul chooses to believe
as a sign of hope
that I haven’t felt in so very long
maybe it you
but just maybe it’s me.
me growing to learn from the spark that ignited me.
with such emotion all I could do was write
to put my pen to paper
feeling the emotion
turning them into words
words that will live through time
passing through many different hands
who have felt such emotion
to whisper in the night
full of surprises
one after the other
containing a lighting ray
that strikes with nothing but
the cold hard truth of what the whispers bring in the night
to sit in one place
completely still
mind everlasting thinking
like a black hole in the sky
